Jascha Ephraim Debut Album

I got my copy of the Jascha Ephraim CD he's selling off his website. It's an amazing disc, with around 13 tracks of music interrupted sporadically by what appears to be evil tapings of his youth. Well, it sounds evil to me, but the songs rule!

Go to his website, if you haven't already and pick up a copy of this release. You'll kick yourself for not getting it when he's made it big.

A Word from Major Brown

Hey there, thank you for visiting the not-updated-very-often webpages at ween.com As evidenced by the dates above, Ween will be going out on a short west coast tour in early October followed by a tour of the heartland beginning in Boulder on Halloween and continuing for two weeks thereafter. These shows are selling out very quickly so be sure and visit the tourdates portion of this site for ticket info. In other Ween news, we are still working on our peer to peer application (see below), it is just a lot more involved (and expensive) than we anticipated. I predict that it is going to dramatically change the ease of which our fans can trade live and unreleased Ween immediately upon it's release. So basically what I'm saying is that it will be worth waiting for. We have slowly started to prepare to begin thinking about talking about working on the new album and are very excited by the prospect of the talks. More news on this as it develops. We've basically written and recorded a few songs and are moving forward on the record at our typically slow pace. And lastly, we are preparing the next Chocodog cd for release, it will be ready "just in time for xmas" as has been the case with the other Chocodog cds. That's about all I have time for right now

Battle of the Bands 2

I went to the Patio last night to watch the second round (?) of the Indianapolis Battle of the Bands. I went because I wanted to see the Hypnotic Velvet Propellers perform. I was more or less going to just meet Bambeezle, or Jason Bembry, from the ween forum finally.

Their performance ruled. They are a great live band, with a wide array of musical styles. I recommend you all take the time out to see them perform.
